Factory Training
Hosted by BEA’s Technical Service Team, Factory Training is a comprehensive program for those requiring factory training to be eligible for AAADM Certification.
BEA’s Technical Service team members provide Factory Training for candidates requiring factory training to be eligible for AAADM Certification. If you have eligible technicians you wish to certify, we can provide the prerequisite training and sensor education prior to their participation in an AAADM Certification class.
Per AAADM, “a candidate must have either worked in the automatic pedestrian industry for six (6) months immediately preceding application or worked in the automatic pedestrian door industry for at least 90 days and has taken the factory training course of an AAADM member.”
We package Factory Training with our Sensor integration School to provide a comprehensive experience at our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania location. Inquire about a class below or contact our Training Team at [email protected].

- Common Industry Terms and Automatic Door Basics
- Basic Electricity and Hands-on troubleshooting
- Sensor overview including activation and safety options
- Training is two (2) days
- $500 per applicant includes: Instruction, Training Manual
