Overview

The EAGLE ARTEK spacer accessory facilitates the correct positioning of the EAGLE ARTEK sensor when mounted above existing dafety devices such as the BEA BODYGUARD or presence sensor. The EAGLE ARTEK SPACER ensures that the sensor’s filed of view is not obstructed and operates effectively to meet ANSI requirements for automatic door activation zones.

  • Bifold Doors:It is required to have an activation sensor on both sides of the door. On the fold side, a presence sensor is necessary for safety reasons. Therefore, the spacer must enable the EAGLE ARTEK to be mounted above the bodyguard without being blocked by it.
  • Sliding Doors: A spacer is needed to position the EAGLE ARTEK above the presence sensor, ensuring that the sensor’s functionality is not impeded.
