Operations Support Specialist

Summary:

BEA Americas delivers sensors, solutions, and accessories for activation and safety in several market segments including pedestrian and industrial automatic doors, vehicle gates and barriers, transportation, security and retail sensing applications. The Operations Support Specialist will be an Ideal Team Player who supports our mission to build a convenient, safe, automated world and works to achieve our vision of continued growth and market expansion.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Warehouse and Shipping departments through safe, accurate and timely:
    • Preparation of outbound orders
    • Receiving, sorting and storage of inventory
    • Special packaging per customer specifications
    • Restocking and inventory level monitoring
  • Support Production department through safe, accurate and timely:
    • Preparation of components for assembly
    • Monitoring of inventory to assure accurate stocking levels
  • Support Inventory Control through:
    • Analysis of consumption and assist in determining appropriate corrective procurement actions to ensure inventory availability
    • Investigation of discrepancies and recommendations to improve ERP system and other warehouse/production system usage
  • All other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.

  • Associates Degree (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred)
  • Expert level proficiency in the use of an ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expert level communicator and ability to work in a self-directed manner
  • Experience in inventory control and warehouse environments (>3 years)
