See “Mechanical Adjustments” section of the User’s Guide.
Ensure that the SUPERSCAN-T is mounted in the correct orientation (lens is facing down).
The SUPERSCAN-T is detecting too far down. Adjust the range by turning the potentiometer located in between the lenses; each click represents about 4″.
Terminals 7 and 8
The SUPERSCAN-T changes relay state on power up. For normally open operation, use terminals 5 and 6, and for normally closed operation, use terminals 4 and 6.
There are 3 basic mechanical adjustments:
1. Tilt angle is adjusted using the white clips in the housing.
2. Detection width is adjusted left or right by sliding the white clips in the housing.
3. Detection height is adjusted by turning the screw that moves the lenses closer together or farther apart.
