BEA Exhibiting at DHI conNextions

Security & Access Solutions of BEA will be exhibiting at this year's DHI conNextions in Baltimore, MD. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 9 through Friday, May 11.

Day 1: What to Do

After listening to the keynote presentation by Michele Gay, former teacher and now one of the founders of Safe and Sound: A Sandy Hook Initiative, visit BEA’s booth #532. Our team members will walk you through product demonstrations and answer any technical and application questions you may have. BEA’s Security & Access Solutions division provides a complete portfolio of security products to complement Low Energy, Access Control and Industrial applications.

Set your alarm at 3:20 p.m. for Jeff Dunham, BEA’s Codes & Standards Compliance Manager. He will be presenting during the Innovation Theater (in the exhibit hall) on: standards and codes for power operated doors, review LASER-based technology that provides security and safety for automatic door operators, and offer an introduction of how AAADM assists distribution with the correct operation of automatic door operators in the United States.

New Product Showcase

The recently launched BR2-900 combines logic module functionality with built-in 900 MHz wireless technology, eliminating the need for individual components. Common applications include: wirelessly sequencing electric locking devices, wireless day/night mode for secure entrances, and universal mode which increases accessibility by utilizing pre-learned wireless transmitters.

Br2-900 Features

  • Sequenced or simultaneous relay activation for application flexibility
  • 2-AMP relays allow the direct release of an electric locking device wirelessly, eliminating the need for separate logic module or isolation relay
  • Extended Hold Mode allows wireless push plates to function like hardwired push plate
  • Wireless functionality eliminates the need to run input wires directly to the logic module, saving both time and money
